Newcastle have announced the capture of Monaco full-back Antonio Barreca – their first signing of the January transfer window.The 23-year-old defender has joined the Magpies on loan for the rest of the season, with the Premier League club having an option to complete a permanent deal in the summer.2

I have accepted this challenge with a great deal of enthusiasm and I can’t wait to start.“I know that Newcastle is a big and historic club.
