Danny Rose has urged Tottenham to find a way to get Christian Eriksen a new contract, insisting he ‘trusts’ the club to get the deal done.The 27-year-old has one year left on a contract that earns him a reported 70,000-a-week, but has been stalling on signing a new deal amidst interest from LaLiga giants Real Madrid.2

Los Blancos have been strongly linked with the Dane and were reportedly weighing up a 100million bid to acquire his servicesat the turn of the year.Getting Eriksen to sign a new deal could be vital to any hopes Spurs have of bringing silverware to the club as he has once again been crucial this season, racking up seven goals and 12 assists in 32 league matches.Boss Mauricio Pochettino revealed he is open to discussing a new deal and Rose hopes the club can persuade him to commit.
