Spurs are tracking the centre-back closely and he is considered an ideal replacement for Toby Alderweireld, who is out of contract in the summer. But, according to Corriere dello Sport, it is Inter who appear to be favourites to sign the Denmark youth international next summer. The San Siro club have kicked off talks for Andersen with Sampdoria, and sporting director Piero Ausilio is working hard to broker a deal. Ausilio has also sat down with Andersens agent and sounded him out over the player joining the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.Tottenham must now work hard to catch up with Inter or risk missing out on Andersen. The north Londoners were first linked with Andersen last month, with reports claiming they have been scouting the young defender since August.
