Diaz has not played for the first-team since netting both goals in Citys 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Fulham on November 1.He is behind Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Leroy Sane and Phil Foden in the City pecking order and that has forced him into considering his future.Spanish publication Marca claims Diaz will be a Real Madrid player next season after agreeing terms with the Champions League holders. The Spain under-21 international has been promised more first-team action at the Bernabeu and that has swung his decision to leave City.Diaz has featured just twice for Pep Guardiola’s side this season. He is out of contract at the end of the campaign but could join Real as soon as January, for a nominal fee.
